This page describes data use in the The Electronic Library store.
Data we store
- Accounts: your email address, username and a one-way password hash. You can add your name and addresses in your account.
- Orders: products, order details and any addresses or contact details you enter. We do not ask for payment card details.
- Contact messages: your name, email address, subject, message, date and notification status. Authorized site administrators can access them.
How we use it
We use this data to manage accounts, display orders, respond to enquiries and send account and password recovery emails. Contact messages do not subscribe you to marketing.
Cookies and security
Cookies support sign-in, sessions, the cart and language preference. Server operation and security logs may include your connection address. Form protection uses keyed identifiers derived from your connection address or email to limit repeated requests.
External services
Hosting, email and Cloudflare help operate and protect the site and may process the connection data needed for these services. The interface loads fonts from Google Fonts; that service receives the connection address and request information needed to load them. Google Analytics is not connected to this store.
Retention and deletion
Account, order and contact data remains until removed by an administrator or through a deletion request. Copies may remain in backups or security logs. You can edit your account details and request a copy or deletion of your data through Contact us. We may ask you to verify account ownership before processing a request.
